You’re in for a surprise! A guided tour will take you into a room where you can look on the original machinery that controls the operations of the elevators, a bunker that was hidden under the Champ de Mars, as well as the technical control room on the first floor. Furthermore you will learn exciting trivia behind the history of the Tower, some of the initial projects and the challenges behind its construction as well as the Tower’s restructuring enumerated by Gustave Eiffel in counter-reaction to developments for the coming centuries.
